Retail Concept
& Rollout
HONG KONG, MAINLAND CHINA,
AND GLOBAL ROLLOUT
Mapos was commissioned by the founders of Fresh to develop a new retail concept for the Union Square flagship in New York, establishing a spatial language that reflects the brand’s sensorial identity.
The concept was adapted into a series of shop-in-shops across Hong Kong and mainland China, distilling the flagship into smaller, cost-conscious formats while maintaining consistency in material, form, and experience.
Each location operated as a working prototype, allowing the design to evolve through iterative refinement informed by customer use, client feedback, and fabrication constraints. The rollout established a flexible system that could be deployed across diverse retail conditions while maintaining a coherent brand presence.
